The Pro Piano Story

  • Spotting an ad inside a matchbook in Western Colorado, the declaration “You too can learn to tune pianos!” urged the co-founder to turn a lifetime of musical leanings into a concrete profession. Soon thereafter, famous artists, bands, producers, etc., began using the Pro Piano Service wing, followed almost immediately by requests for rental pianos on the road.
  • Initially in Hippie San Francisco, down to Rock n’ Roll LA, then to The Big Apple NYC, and for a couple of years, even to The Windy City, Chicago, Pro Piano has meant Great Pianos for Great Pianists, Musicians, Orchestras, Broadway Productions, Museums, Theaters, and Homes …Nationwide
  • Soon thereafter, Crosby Stills and Nash called Pro Piano inquiring about tour rental to include two pianos, a couple of Fender Twins, a Hammond B3, 2 Leslies, Pedals & Bench. We didn’t have a single piece of the gear they requested. Nevertheless, a quote for the whole tour, in masse, was made ON THE SPOT; without hesitation, the bid was accepted. Voila, we had entered the real business world, and never looked back.
  • At Pro Piano, Our Pianos and Musical Instruments are Truly Appreciated and Cherished by Pianists, Artists, and Performers.
  • “It’s Never Too Early to Be On-Time” is the Pro Piano Operational Mantra coined by Pro Piano. We Prefer to Arrive Early for Piano Rentals, Moves, Tunings, Services and time sensitive projects. Being late is a BIG No, No!
  • In Serving the Entertainment Industry without interruption for 56 years, we’ve encountered the unimaginable, quoted unbelievable piano jobs, discussed jaw-dropping scenarios, provided exacting skyscraper COIs, met the most discerning client requests, all within protocols of professionalism and integrity.
